Ryan Broderick

Having taught at Bristol Central for the past 10 years, I am extremely excited to take on my new role as assistant principal. I was born and raised in Bristol, and both of my parents were educators in town. I guess you can say it "runs in the family."

I earned a bachelor's degree in Social Studies education and a master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Connecticut. My administrative certification was also earned at UConn. During this time, I was fortunate enough to work for the football and basketball programs in Storrs, as well as intern with the Arizona Cardinals. The Bristol Public Schools prepared me very well for these experiences.

I began teaching at Bristol Central in 2007. Throughout my career I have taught all grade levels. Most recently, I cherished my time as the Social Studies Department Coordinator and AP Psychology teacher. During these years, I have coached football, golf, and volleyball. I have also been a supervisor for the ski club. Perhaps my proudest moment is to see Bristol Central's commitment to service at the Push-Ups for Patriots fundraiser. Give until it hurts!

My goal is support all teachers and students.I will work extremely hard to ensure that all learners acquire the skills, knowledge, and attitudes to succeed.I will also support teachers as they engage students in rigorous, instructional learning experiences that address individual learning styles and academic needs.

Looking forward to a great school year!
