  • Being born and bred in Bristol I am very proud of the school community we’ve built at Bristol Central.  As I enter my 15th year as principal and 21st as a member of the Ramily, the staff and students at Bristol Central continue to be my number 1 priority.

I received my Bachelor's Degree and teaching certification from Western New England College in Springfield, MA. I earned a Master's Degree in Elementary Education from Central Connecticut State University and completed my Administrative Certification through Sacred Heart University.

In 1993. I began working for the Bristol Public Schools as a teaching assistant in the ASEP housed at Bristol Eastern. In 1996, I accepted a position at Sage Park Middle School in Windsor where I was involved in creating the first alternative education program in the middle school. After two and a half years in Windsor I jumped at the opportunity to come back home to Bristol as a middle school alternative education teacher at West Woods Academy. While at West Woods I also took the position of Boy's Basketball Coach at Bristol Central and six years later became a social studies teacher here. I began my administrative career in 2007 when I was hired as assistant principal here and became principal in 2010.

We are very proud of our school and our community and want all students at Bristol Central to realize and reach their full potential. Our goal is to partner with families and community members to make this a reality.

I hope all of you are looking forward to the school year as much as I am.
