Football Coach

A 1982 Bristol Eastern and 1987 Syracuse University graduate, he played football and basketball in high school and football in college. At Bristol Eastern, he earned all-city, all-conference and All-State his senior year in basketball.

In football he was all-city and all-conference twice and was All-State and an honorable mention prep-All-American as a team tri-captain his senior season. At Syracuse, he was a three-year letterman, two-year sweater winner and played in the Cherry Bowl.

He went on to coach high school football as freshman coach at Bristol Eastern for a year before taking the head varsity coaching job at Bristol Central between 2002-2009, producing a 39-33-1 record overall.

He was an assistant coach of the state’s winning All-Star football team in 2007 and he’s coached 22 All-State players and two who went on to play in the NFL.
