Bristol native Tom Moylan played sports at St. Joseph's and McCabe-Waters LL before going on to captain and earn all-league honors in soccer and baseball at Bristol Central.

Tom captained his soccer team at Fairfield University before returning to Central as a social studies teacher and boys soccer coach. He served as head soccer coach from 1970-1994, winning four titles and being named CHSCA Coach of the Year in 1983.

Tom also became involved with Central baseball in 1970, serving as head coach from 1983-2006, winning four CCC South titles, and his No. 3 state-ranked team reached LL finals in 2006.

Tom coached Parks Department soccer and continues to volunteer for the Central girls’ soccer and softball teams. Tom was named Bristol's Teacher of the Year in 2005, and has received numerous sportsmanship awards.
