Bristol Central High School

Job/Volunteer Opportunities

All Bristol Central students are invited to join the School Counseling Google Classroom. Within the Google Classroom, school counselors will post upcoming activities and events for students, important and relevant grade-level information, and job/volunteer opportunities. If a student has not joined yet, they are encouraged to simply ask their school counselor for the invite code.

The United Way Walsh Summer Work Experience Program (WSWEP) provides employment, training and instructional services for Bristol youth age 16 and older eligible to enter the workforce. The program is expected to run for seven weeks during the summer -- dates for Summer 2024 TBD. Funded in partnership with the Main Street Community Foundation, Bristol Public Schools, City of Bristol, and Farmington Bank Community Foundation and operated by United Way of West Central Connecticut, the program offers youth a paid summer job with support and enriching career exploration experiences.

An application and additional information will be provided to students and families once they are available.
