I am proud to have been an educator in Bristol for nearly two decades, dedicated to helping students thrive and achieve their potential. My teaching journey began with two years in an elementary school before joining Bristol Central High School in 2007 as a special education teacher. Since then, I’ve proudly called myself a Ram!
I hold a bachelor’s degree in Elementary and Special Education and a master’s degree in Special Education from the University of Connecticut. I later earned my administrative certification in Advanced Studies in Administration from Sacred Heart University, further fueling my passion for leadership in education.
During my teaching years at BCHS, I co-taught core freshman-level classes, developed curriculum, and taught self-contained math. I was also known for integrating instructional technology into everyday learning to make lessons more dynamic and engaging for students.
In 2013, I was honored to be named assistant principal at BCHS, a role I continue to hold with pride. Over the years, I have had the privilege of supporting our incredible students, families, and staff in various capacities—supervising the Math and Science departments, leading the On-Track team, and chairing the Safe School Team, among other responsibilities. Working at BCHS, a school that values community and excellence, has been one of the greatest joys of my career.
My goal is to ensure that every student feels supported, confident, and prepared for life beyond BCHS. I strive to create an environment where our school feels like a home away from home—a place where students are encouraged to embrace challenges and reach their fullest potential.
I am proud to be a member of the Ramily!
